Abstract

The Last Section tells the story of a group of students placed in the school’s lowest-ranked section and initially judged by their academic performance and personal struggles. Guided by a teacher who encourages them to challenge the labels placed upon them, the students gradually develop confidence, perseverance, and a strong sense of community. Through mutual support and their participation in a learning exhibition, they transform their struggles into a meaningful story of growth. The narrative emphasizes that academic ranking does not determine a person’s worth or potential, and that identity is shaped more by resilience, effort, and the choices one makes than by labels imposed by others.
